This is a very easy recipe that will get you salivating just looking at the end product.
First select your Prawn. I like either the medium to large King Prawn or the Banana Prawn. Make sure you do not select Prawns with black heads and legs as they most likely have been defrosted for a number of days. Also look at their eyes and make sure they are full and not sunken.
Pull its head off and throw away.
Peel off outer shell and legs.
At this stage you can either leave the tail on or pull it off. I like to take the tail off so you can eat the whole Prawn and not worry about eating the tail.
Take a sharp knife and run it across the back.
With your fingers, remove the black or green line and throw away.
You are now left with a clean prawn ready to cook.
Do this to as many Prawns as you like and put them into a clean bowl.
Add a good 1/4 cup of Olive Oil.
Add 3-4 Freshly crushed Garlic (Jar Garlic is fine) and freshly grated Ginger (Jar Ginger is also fine)
Cook on a BBQ for approximately 3 mins
Enjoy!
